Terms of service

sprite.click is a free, unofficial Fortnite fan project operated by Mathias Larsen in Denmark. It helps users record Sprite collection progress, optionally share a public profile, find Epic friends who are also registered, and connect collection tools to ChatGPT. Linking an Epic Games account does not mean sprite.click is affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Epic Games. The disclosure explains this relationship in more detail.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. Information you submit must be accurate enough for the service to function and must not impersonate another person. If the law where you live requires a parent or guardian to approve your use of an online service, you must have that approval.

You can update, export, or delete your account through Account controls. Deleting a profile permanently removes its account-linked sprite.click data as described in the privacy policy.

Collected and mastered statuses are supplied by users and are not verified against Fortnite or Epic Games accounts. Roster, rarity, finish, and mastery information may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. You remain responsible for checking information before relying on it.

If you publish a profile, the information shown there can be viewed and shared by anyone with access to it. Publishing your name or profile photo requires additional opt-in choices.

Epic Games is an optional connection for existing Google-based sprite.click accounts. After it is linked, it may be used to sign back in to that same account, but it cannot create or register a new sprite.click account. The Friends page shows only Epic friends returned through that connection who have also linked Epic to an existing sprite.click account. Detailed collection access remains disabled unless the collection owner separately enables “Share collection with Epic friends” on Profile. This permission can be withdrawn at any time. Do not use public profiles, comparisons, or Epic account information to harass, identify, pressure, or misrepresent another person.

If you connect sprite.click to ChatGPT, the approved permissions allow ChatGPT to read or update collection information when you ask it to. You are responsible for reviewing the scopes presented during authorization and the result of requested updates. OpenAI and ChatGPT are separate services with their own terms and privacy practices. You can disconnect access or delete your sprite.click profile through the available account controls.

You must not:

• break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful material;
• impersonate another person or falsely claim affiliation with Epic Games, sprite.click, or another collector;
• probe, bypass, or interfere with authentication, permissions, rate limits, security controls, or service infrastructure;
• use automated requests, scraping, account enumeration, or bulk access in a way that disrupts the service or places unreasonable load on it;
• introduce malware or attempt to access, alter, or disclose another user’s private information or collection; or
• use public profiles, Epic account information, or ChatGPT access to harass users or make unauthorized changes.

You may stop using the service or delete your profile at any time. The operator may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to a security issue or legal requirement, or address a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided where reasonably practical, unless doing so would create risk or conflict with a legal obligation.

sprite.click may change, pause, or discontinue features and may experience downtime, data delays, or errors. Reasonable care is taken to operate the service, but continuous availability, compatibility with third-party services, and error-free collection data are not guaranteed. Users should not treat sprite.click as the only record of information that is important to them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, sprite.click is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that it will meet every user’s needs or remain uninterrupted, secure, or free from mistakes. Nothing in these terms affects warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from use of, or inability to use, the service; inaccurate user-submitted collection information; or the acts, availability, or output of Epic Games, Google, OpenAI, ChatGPT, hosting providers, or other third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or other responsibility that cannot be limited under applicable law.

The sprite.click service, original interface, and original project materials remain the property of their respective owner. Fortnite names, characters, artwork, and other game materials remain the property of Epic Games and, where applicable, their respective third-party rights holders. These terms do not give you ownership of the service or third-party materials. Epic's Fan Content Policy does not grant rights in third-party intellectual property.

These terms are governed by Danish law. This does not remove mandatory rights or protections available under the law of the country where you live. Any dispute should first be raised with the operator so that an informal resolution can be attempted. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear unresolved disputes.

These terms may be updated when the service, its features, or legal requirements change. The effective date and version above will be updated when changes are published. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, it will be requested. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should stop using the service and may delete your profile.
